dc.description.abstract The aim of this study to identify the impact of accessibility on the level of satisfaction of expectant mothers and to identify the level of awareness (safe motherhood knowledge) has an impact on the level of satisfaction of expectant mothers. The study is a panel study; data was collected on the same respondents at different points in time. The research design for this study is a relationship-based design as the objectives of the research are to determine the relationship between two variables. Quantitative data was gathered from 200 expectant mothers through questionnaires to collect data on the accessibility and safe motherhood knowledge of women along with their satisfaction with the doctor and services provided. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS. Results from the study reveal that more than half of the expectant mothers who took part in the study have low level of satisfaction whereas the level of awareness of almost all expectant mothers was high. Furthermore, the results showed that accessibility has a statistically significant association with the level of satisfaction however the level of awareness has a statistically insignificant association with the level of satisfaction. Keeping in mind the results of the study, Pakistan should formulate and implement policies that not only address the loopholes and improve quality of the existing policies and facilities but also work towards enhancing female education to improve maternal and child health along with address the problem of food insecurity and undernutrition issues faced by women to strengthen and enhance the coverage of maternal nutritional strategies en_US
