Abstract:
Codes of ethics and policies are sets of rules that define a standard for any organization, which
makes it easier for individuals to perform and develop a safe and workable environment. In this
study an innovative teaching methodology was developed for teaching code of ethics using
interactive videos. Further, a comparative analysis was carried out between traditional teaching
methodology and adopted methodologies of interactive videos. Moreover, the relationship
between participant’s interest, engagement and overall performance was analyzed. This study
was carried out in three universities of Pakistan. Participants were randomly selected, and
divided into controlled and experimental group (N=420). Descriptive, Correlative, and
Regression analysis were carried out to measure and analyze the results. It was found that
teaching through interactive videos enhanced the learning process for code of ethics, resulting in
increased interest, engagement and assessment test result. Interactive videos will provide a great
opportunity to the organization to make the environment healthier and free of insecurities, such
as harassment and behavioral misconducts.
