Abstract:
In Electronic circuits power converters are used for power conversion, control, and
regulation of electric power for various application from milliwatts to megawatt
range. DC-DC Push pull converter is used in Power Supplies, Solar System, Electric
Vehicle, DC-DC, and DC-AC converters. When DC or AC signal flow in the circuit it
flows freely.in the presence of high potential difference the DC or AC unwanted
signal to flow the other part of the system which causes the damage. Therefore,
Galvanic isolation is needed to prevent errors and hazarded condition.
Galvanic isolation is required when high gain in voltage conversion is required it
provide the simplicity, better efficiency, low emission, easier choice of transformer
and better immunity.
This thesis presents the design and Implementation of push pull isolated dc-dc boost
converter with isolated compensator. Based on the standard circuit laws, mathematical
model of the push pull dc-dc boost converter is also derived which is expressed as a

nd order system.
The isolated control strategy is also designed which has number of benefits including
the time adjustment and state errors. The results regarding the simulation allows the
better performance of converter operation. Simulation is done in the
MATLAB/Simulink and results are shown that the operation of converter is quite
good during the operating state. The results of the comparative simulations are
depicted with the closed loop performance including different type of disturbances
along with the changes in load. It is observed that the isolated compensator provided
the galvanic isolation which isolated the power and control unit and protect the
system from high voltages. The improvement in the behavior of the system can be
easily reduced by lowering the transient response of system. The system has many
advantages in term of signal quality in continuous mode, in term of cost and
efficiency.
