dc.description.abstract This work proposed the sensorless nonlinear controller by using the Lyapunov direct method for the Cuk converter. The sensorless control strategy is designed to regulate the output voltage by considering the State-space average model and nonlinearity of the Cuk converter. A Full state observer is proposed to estimate the capcitor voltage and inductor current using an output voltage and a switch control signal. The state observer enables the nonlinear controller to be realized without the inductor current sensor and makes the system low cost and free from noise problems associated with sensor circuitry. The observer gains are calculated using linear matrix inequality (LMI). The stability of the proposed observer and nonlinear control is proved by the Lyapunov direct method. The accurate tracking performance and stable operation are verified by simulation results. en_US
