dc.description.abstract The construction sector functions and runs using a variety of information sources. IPCs are widely used in the construction sector and are acknowledged as important informational formats. Currently, Pakistan's construction sector prepares IPCs manually, which is a timeconsuming, expensive, and inaccurate method that causes significant issues for construction projects. The players in the construction business are encouraged by the sector's importance to think about effective strategies that automate various procedures in construction projects. One of the most significant changes and technological advances in the construction sector is building information modeling (BIM). The goal of the study is to develop a BIM-based system that automates the creation of IPCs, lowering the need for human intervention while boosting accuracy and efficiency. The two BIM-IPC plugins created as a result of this study enable automated IPC generation and provide a website for real-time stakeholder contact with a variety of customizations, thus resolving issues with the conventional way of interim payment certificate generation. en_US
