Abstract:
Imperative role has been played by Micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in
many developed and developing country’s economy. This research seek out to
congregate statistics and data from all pertinent primary and secondary resources on
the local level where SMEs applied their impact on Pakistani economy and also
explain problem faced by SMEs. The Research outcome may either validate the affect
of SME in national growth or nullify the belief that SMEs drive country economy.
This research elaborates the affect of SMEs on unemployment, infrastructure
development, innovation and most of the all economy or GDP. It reveals that
Business profitability is dependent on the time duration and type of business or not,
either SMEs attract banks and financial institutions, either government is supporting
SME sector or not, Either our new generation is equipped with entrepreneurial skills
and financial literacy, are they inclined towards business? What are the factors
affecting SMEs and entrepreneurship. This study concludes the ways and methods by
the help of that we can improve our SME sector to fully utilize it for prosperity and
economic development.
