Identification of the Technique Which Enables Quick and Efficient Recovery of Hydrocarbons:

Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to “Identify the techniques in drilling that will enable quick and efficient of hydrocarbons in oil and gas sector”. Use of oil and gas is increasing day by day in Pakistan. It is becoming necessary to extract the hydrocarbons more effectively so that we can rely on our natural resources. They are present beneath the earth in large amount. These reservoirs of hydrocarbons in the earth crust are located by means of exploration geo physics with more precision and accuracy. The image of the beneath rocks are taken by using seismic survey. After taking the image process of drilling is performed. Depending upon the formations of the rock the drilling performed may be vertical, directional, horizontal or multilateral. This research will focus upon improving the recovery of hydrocarbons through multilateral drilling. Air drilling is also performed in Pakistan these days at OGDCL rig sites.
