Abstract:
In current global environment, most organisations are operating in highly dynamic
environments which are rapidly changing and characterized by uncertainty. Rapid changes in
emerging new ideas, new business domains, new market forces and new management strategies
further enhance the uncertainty and competition. The need for organisations to survive in this
uncertain environment has led to the development of the concepts regarding continuously
upgrading through learning. In order to stay competent, the organisations make an endeavor to
continuously analyse their processes and transform them to adapt new techniques and latest
technologies for survival. This avid demand for continuous knowledge has resulted in a dramatic
increase in the utilization of technology, acquiring of new technologies and technological innovation
as a competitive tool in any learning organization. Due to globalised economies, Higher Education
Institutions also act as Learning Organisation to foster its learning processes and to keep pace with
latest trends in order to remain competitors. Higher Education Institutions generate knowledge
