Abstract:
With the boost of social media, tons of personal images and videos are being
shared. With this immense sharing, people want privacy as well as visually
more appealing images. Traditional filters like pixelate, blur and other ob fuscating filters provide privacy but also make the images and videos less
attractive. As we know the social media content is consumed by human
that’s why visual aesthetics have a large impact on images. Most of the
previous literature focused on the privacy and did not take visual aesthetics
in a primary attention. A survey was conducted to find the trade-off re sult between privacy and visual aesthetics, and filters used on images and
videos were different due to their unique parameters. We have also used our
own techniques to maximize the privacy and minimize its effect on the video
aesthetics.
