This research study is focused on the issue of evaluating audits of quality management
system using quantitative tools of statistics. Measurement of the effectiveness of the
audits is determined through customer satisfaction. In this growing technological world,
every field of Management, Finance, Manufacturing or Service is seen, rated and
compared on global perspective. Therefore presently, the world is seen as a global
market. In the past quality was taken as an entity/product or service as primary or
ultimate requirement. Now the quality is recognized as a minimum requirement.
In Pakistan , the knowledge economy is growing day by day and awareness in the fields
like Quality Standards implementation is maturing. Therefore, significant number of
SMEs, large industries and defense sector industries in Pakistan have worked
significantly on the implementation of ISO 9001, AS9100 and other quality standards.
All these standards are assessed and monitored by a common method, known as
auditing. Auditing in simple words, is a process of confirmation of product realization
and product itself to check its conformity with the standards and laid down requirements
by the organization based primarily on customer requirements and product functional
and performance needs. Integrated Defense Technologies (IDS) is heavily involved in
the implementation of quality standards. An effort has been made in this research study
to identify measure, analyze, improve and maintain an effective auditing system.
The recommendation made in this research study can be applied by any organization,
certification body, accreditation body or financial organizations and auditors to improve
its auditing expertise |
