dc.description.abstract This paper assesses the perceived causes and vulnerability of violent radicalization in the youth of selected universities. The main purpose of this study is to identify how vulnerability to violent-radicalization is policy problem. This paper employs a mixed methodology. Convenience and purposive sampling was used to sample universities. The students at universities were sampled based on random sampling. There were 500 survey questionnaires and 50 unstructured interviews conducted from five public universities. The results were obtained using tools like ANNOVA, Chi Square, Liner Regression, and Correlation. Content analysis was used to obtain the interview results. The push and pull factors were found to be perceived causes. However, the students of selected universities were not found to be vulnerable. Based on interview findings it is recommended to universities to provide youth healthy activities like sports, and regulate student politics to improve university environment. en_US
