Traceability and Authenticity is one of the important parameter which needs to be
addressed in any type of system. In medical field, it is really very important to ensure
traceability of information as a minor error can create a significant problem for both
patients and doctors. Most of the times, the nodes in IoMT networks sense some data
and report it to the next level whenever there is any event. Any inaccurate/wrong
information may mislead a nurse/doctor. In traditional system there is no reliable and
efficient mechanism for traceability and security of information Therefore, it is difficult
to ensure that whether the information that was provided by the sensors was incorrect,
tempered or compromised on its way to desired destination.
Sensor nodes sends data to cloud on any platform where the information is being
stored according to its time as the time of a particular reading is really important. This
information can be accessed by the Doctor who is sitting at a distant place. It is
responsibility of the Doctor to analyze the data received and prescribe medicine or
send the required feedback or instructions to the local doctors/nurses or IoT devices
like infusion pumps etc. in fully autonomous environment. In this research work we
will propose a blockchain based authenticate and confirmation framework which will
ensure the security and traceability of a transaction that is tampered. |
