dc.description.abstract The thesis mainly discusses the behavior of Carreau nanofluid flow under MHD in a permeable medium and chemical reaction in the context of a stretching cylinder. Moreover, we discuss the influence of chemical reactions and variable thermal conductivity on EMHD Carreau nanofluid slip flow over an inclined cylinder in a porous medium. The problem is governed by a set of partial differential equations (PDEs). Similarity variables are used to convert the PDEs into a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The ODEs are then solved using the bvp4c solver in MATLAB. The effects of several factors, including the magnetic parameter (M), Biot number (Bi) and other parameters that affect temperature, velocity, concentration, motile microorganism profiles, heat transfer coefficients (local Nusselt number and skin friction coefficient), local Sherwood number and local density of motile microorganisms are investigated. Numerical results are obtained in tabular form, which are later compared with existing research in the literature. Graphical illustrations are provided to visualize the varying effects of relevant parameters in the presence of non-Newtonian effects. en_US
