dc.description.abstract This is a journalistic, expository documentary which will provide an insight into the lives of women living in the remote areas and how they overcame the hurdles to make an identity of their own. Furthermore, it will include one main character and multiple following characters along with the in-depth interviews, audio narration and expert views. Although we are living in the 21st century and our country has progressed in many spheres of life, unfortunately, the empowerment of women is still a questionable stance in our society. Even in today’s time, women, especially in the remote areas of Pakistan, deal with less education opportunities, skill learning and proper trainings for them to work on their own. Most of them are not allowed to leave their houses or are married-off at early ages. In such situations, social welfare organizations that work with the initiative to provide opportunities to such under-privileged women, play an important role. This documentary delivers the importance of social work and how it can enable women to be independent by navigating progressive ways for them. Moreover, it will also allow the audience to know the struggles women had to endure to bring such radical changes in their lives. en_US
