Abstract:
Emerging technology of cloud computing has revolutionized IT infrastructure, enhancing
the performance of organizations by providing scalable and on-demand services over internet.
Under the cloud umbrella, end user computing devices have become integral tools for
personal, professional, and organizational activities. However, the widespread integration of
these devices with PaaS also raises critical concerns about security of devices, data and
applications.
Although there is some level of security put by CSP’s, the security of business and third party applications and privacy of data falls under the organization’s hands. As these devices
store and process vast amounts of personal and confidential data, robust encryption
techniques, secure data management, and real-time monitoring are vital to prevent
unauthorized access and data breaches. It is also important to ensure that different devices on
which applications and data is accessed is secure and following standards for device
compliance.
As technology advances and threats evolve, maintaining the integrity of end user
computing devices remains a dynamic challenge requiring continuous innovation and
collaboration across various domains. This research will emphasis on new cloud security
model using Microsoft Intune focusing on device and application security. The
recommendations provided will help organizations use PaaS to secure their applications and
data on their platforms
