dc.description.abstract In this work Ciprofloxacin, an important fluoroquinolone pharmaceutical compound. was degraded in aqueous solutions, using titania photocatalyst. was found that whereas significant degradation occurred with titania under UV light noticeable degradation was also seen under ordinary fluorescent light when silver doped titania was used. The method of detection of the drug was UV spectroscopy but degradation results were also confirmed by Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Zoned of Inhibition tests. en_US
