Abstract:
MXene is a novel series of compounds, being famous for their conductivity and flexibility. On
the other side, metal oxide offer their unique advantages; including high porosity, and exceptional
electrochemical properties. In this study, a novel approach has been opted to produce V-doped Bi2O3
embedded Ti3C2Tx. For the first time, V-doped Bi2O3 nanostructure has been effectively integrated with
MXene flakes via hydrothermal process. Electrochemical studies have revealed that V-doped
Bi2O3/MXene composite showed better electrochemical performance than individual MXene and Bi2O3.
15% V-doped Bi2O3/MXene showed capacitance of 1632 Fg-1
at 1 A/g. Furthermore, this synthesized
electrode material showed exceptional capacitance retention of about 82% after 10,000 cycles
