dc.description.abstract The physical manifestation - and presentation - of cultural heritage is an important factor to portray in architecture. Pakistan is losing its culture and traditions. The need to revive its dynamic diversity of cultures is important for this nation to retain its identity to its sub-continent roots of historic sports skills related to equestrianism. The resultant scheme would be a hybrid space deriving from both the formal colonial and vernacular cultures of equestrianism. The role of architecture will be to create a space with analogies of the intangible characteristics of three distinct domains within the event; the horse, horseman and spectator. This thesis will aim to use architecture as a tool to revive this event of collective celebration to highlight the culture of equestrianism. A platform to exhibit the spirit of the horse which will invest to make a physical identity in Pakistan. en_US
