Abstract:
Architecture has been an inspiration in the field of fashion design, so the process was reversed by translation certain fashion design techniques (pleating, weaving and knotting) into architectural manifestations The idea was explored through an analysis of work by fashion designers (issey Miyake, alexander McQuinn, Deborah Milner and Yohji Yohmamoto) and then extraction of their architectural qualities through the process of model-making.
