dc.description.abstract It’s a common problem amongst the students especially in universities where hectic routines lead to severe pain in neck and back and that’s because of not maintaining good working postures. It’s been observed that students are aware of the need to improve the posture yet it is difficult for them to focus on posture and the work at the same time. This leads to serious back and neck problems as the proceed through their academic program in universities. Working at a desk on a laptop with poor posture can be very damaging for neck and back health. Research has proved that number of students suffering from pain in upper or lower back have increased during their time at universities. Students suffer from this problem due to prolonged use of computer, time spent on computers without a break, use of mouse and poor work ergonomics. “Habitus” aims at providing a solution for students to prevent back related issues that can lead to problems like spin-related issues, herniated discs, inflammation or chronic neck and back pain. The target audience for the project is university students who suffer from back problem. The project will provide an improvement in this condition of the students by changing the lifestyle and posture of the students as it is essential to build good posture habits to avoid aftereffects in older age. en_US
