dc.description.abstract Split ring resonators is the current field of research in metamaterials to achieve invisibility in microwave.SRR are also used in bio medical industry and research. The uses of SRR is not only limited to biomedical but instead it is used in every industry to characterize polar solvents,it is used in filters, oscillators. sattelite communication radar and many other microwave circuits.Their are many shapes and designs of SRR but for my project and research I have chosen the single ring SRR. Due to its vast number of applications and easy fabrication this design is very usefull in the range of 1-18GHz.In this project I have designed a SRR upto 3GHz and practically fabricate it and then I have tested it on VNA to get the required results en_US
