dc.description.abstract Weliveinanincrediblybusyworld.Ourpaceoflifeisoftenfrantic,ourmindsare alwaysonthego,andwe’resocaughtupinourdailylifeactivitiesthatithinders ourfocusinalotofthingsincludingourprayersaswell.Often,whileprayingwe tendtoforgetwhatrakatwe’reon,nomatterhow hardwe’refocusing.This problemhasbecomesocommonthateverythirdpersonfacesitbecausewelive intheworldofsocialmediaandlifehasgottenprettybusyirrespectiveofage andgender.WithE-Rakatitwillnolongerbeaproblem. E-RAKATisadevicedevelopedtoaidconcentrationinprayers.Itwillbeasmart, portablemulti-functionaldevicethatcouldbewornduringprayertocountthe numberoftherakatsanddisplaythem bytheendoftheprayer.Theinternal workingismadepossiblebyemployingasensorMPU6050integratedwitha gyroscopewhichmeasuresangularvelocity,anaccelerometerwhichmeasures linearaccelerationandamagnetometerwhichmeasuresdirectionofmagnetic fields.Accelerometerisused to getorientation atrun timewhich willbe convertedintopitch,roll,andyawandvaluestakenfrom itwillbetakenthrough microcontrollerArduinoNanobasedontheATmega328(ArduinoNano3.x).It hasmoreorlessthesamefunctionalityoftheArduinoDuemilanove,butina differentpackage.ThetransferisdonethroughBluetoothHC-05inthesoftware Teraterm.TheBluetoothhasUSART(universalsynchronousandasynchronous receiver-transmitter)isamicrochipthatfacilitatescommunicationthrougha computer'sserialportusingtheRS-232Cprotocolincorporated.Thedatasets areobtainedbyruntimevaluesfrom givingtheprototypetodifferentpeopleto wearthroughprayerandthevaluesarerecordedinthreemainpositions;Qayyam, RukkuandQaida.Perperson500-800rowsofdataisobtainedperpositionand afterprocessingthem furtherwillbeshiftedtoPythoninPyCharm.Further techniquesofmachinelearningareusedtoprocessthedataanddotheactual detection process.It involves implementation of different Classification AlgorithmsincludingNaïveBayes,LogisticRegression,Random ForestandK neighborClassifier.Kneighborclassifiergivesthemaximum efficiencyof93%. Therealtimefeedbackthroughthehardwarewillbeprovidedusinganactuator ABSTRACT 8 Cointypevibrationmotorthatwillvibrateaccordingtothenumberofrakats.The vibrationisscheduledatthetimeofRukkuposition.Alongwiththevibration,the numberofrakatwillbedisplayedonthe0.96-inchOLED screen.Boththe incrementofthevibrationandthenumberofrakatstakesplacesimultaneously. Bytheendofprayer,apersonwillbeabletoseeifthey’vecompletedtheirprayer intherightmannerornot. Itcaterstoawidedemographicsincetheproblem beingaddressedisonethat almosteveryonefacesatonepointoranother.Itcouldprovemorehelpfulfor olderpeopleorpeoplewithmemoryissues.Itisagreatinitiativeforpeoplewho converttoIslam andfacedifficultyinprayers.Moreover,itcanbeabeneficial toolforchildrenhelpingthem learntoprayfivetimesaday.It’sabudgetfriendly devicecomparedtothedevicesthatarealreadyexistentinthemarket.Aftera detailedanalysisofmarket,itissafetosaythatnoproductofthisnatureis presentnationallyorinternationally.Itwillbeeasierforthegeneralpublictoget theirhandsonthisdevicebecauseofitscostefficiency. en_US
