dc.description.abstract The sustainable innovation of Fiber Reinforced Pervious Concrete presents a new solution for parking lots in the construction industry. This thesis aims to investigate the properties, performance, and sustainability of FRPC to alleviate the drawbacks of conventional parking lots for concrete. A primary focus of the research is on FRPC development through fiber applications and its contribution to enhancing the mechanical properties of concrete. Several studies on pervious concrete technologies were also analyzed in the initial stage, with the strengthening effect of fibers considered the critical feature. Several experiments were conducted on different types, lengths, and dosage levels to examine FRPC fresh and hardened properties. Mechanical tests, including strength examination such as compressive and flexural strengths along with a permeability test, were also considered to measure structural integrity and drainage capability of the pavement. Environmental impact assessments are carried out to evaluate the improvement in sustainability achieved by FRPC for Parking lots in storm-water management, reduction in carbon footprint, and long-term properties compared to conventional concrete. The research findings would promote the knowledge of the FRPC for Parking lots and its application to develop sustainable solutions to civil engineering problems. en_US
