Abstract:
This 12–15-minute journalistic expository documentary explores the dynamics of digital warfare, specifically the utility of social media networks as means of hybrid warfare and its impact on a country's sovereignty in the current digital era. Focusing on India's disinformation campaigns against Pakistan, the documentary aims to raise awareness and literacy on this critical issue. Through expert interviews and analysis, the film sheds light on strategies and tactics employed in digital warfare, including fake news/ disinformation besides propaganda. The documentary provides a roadmap for policymakers to defend against these threats while highlighting importance of understanding and combating hybrid warfare in current milieu.
