Abstract:
In an era marked by rapid urbanization and growing populations, especially in outdoor public spaces in Pakistan. The hustling and bustling crowds are a no joke which leads to the compromised safety of children in these situations which has become a paramount concern for parents. This final year project delves into the multifaceted issues surrounding children's outdoor safety, including the risk of children getting lost, difficulties in maintaining visual contact, communication breakdowns, and along with anxieties and frustrations faced by users. The research focuses on developing innovative solutions that combine interaction design, Intuitive and child-friendly features, innovative technology, and thoughtful design components to address these pressing concerns. By bridging the gap between the practical needs of children and the concerns of parents, regarding the market availability and needs. The aim is to create a holistic safety framework that empowers families to enhance their outdoor experience easily and confidently. The research findings underscore the potential for interactive design and technology-driven solutions and validate them through research methods like user interviews, surveys, and observational research. This work signifies a future where children can explore with confidence, and parents can find peace in knowing that safety and adventure are not mutually exclusive in these bustling outdoor environments.
