Abstract:
Motivated by the observed anomalies in b → sμ+μ− transition which hints towards
new physics, we investigate Bc → D∗
sμ+μ− decay using the recent global fit analysis
of b → sℓ+ℓ− quark level trnsition. More precisely for the said decay, the NP has
been analysed using the full differential angular distribution when D∗
s cascades into Dsπ
and Dsγ. The said four body decay has been analyzed in the framework of Standard
Model and in the model independent scenarios. To identify the effects of NP via these
decays, we choose several q2 dependent observables. Our results show that most of the
physical observables are sensitive to NP couplings. Future measurements of the angular
observables in these decays, both at current and future high energy colliders, will be
useful to clarify the structure of New Physics.
