dc.description.abstract Fake News is one of the major problems of the world and also affects Pakistan equally. It is one of those problems which has been highlighted globally and nationally by all big leaders and personalities but aside from curbing of the issue, no concrete solution has been made till date which sorts out this menace from society. The aim of our project is to stop the circulation of Fake News in our society and provide the masses with a means to verify the authenticity of News posted on online web platforms. The solution leverages Blockchain technology to democratize the process of Fake News Detection by consensus mechanism and also incentivize the stakeholders involved in the process. Web 3 is the future technology and the features provided by it are really important for curbing this menace from our society. We are using the feature of traceability, non-repudiation, integrity and consensus mechanism of Blockchain technology in our project model for now to help detect fake News. en_US
