IoT Based Hand Sanitizing System

Abstract

Corona Virus (Covid19) is wreaking havoc in the world. There is no vaccine or known cure for this viral disease other than precaution and social distancing. De-sanitizing hands and body has proved to be a vital weapon in our war against Corona. In this project, we will build an Automatic Hand Sanitizer System which will automatically de-sanitize an individual's hands once detected by the sensor. The system will be IoT based and will communicate basic information in real time on our interface. Some information communicated includes number of person who have sanitized their hands, current volume of sanitizing liquid present and warning notification if an individual has casually passed by without washing his hands. The system will be linked to firebase(cloud) where the data will be stored. The system will also monitor the individual’s temperature and will subsequently raise an alarm if it exceeds the desired value.The system is fully automized meaning it will also refill once the level of the fluid has reached certain level. An IP camera will also be incorporated with the system providing real time coverage of the defaulter. A smart interface will be displayed on the application exclusively developed and integrated with this project. The firebase account will update the data on the application in real time. We can access the data from anywhere irrespective of the location provided we have the application installed and the ID and password for the firebase account. Key Words: Firebase, IoT.
