dc.description.abstract The mineral resources of Pakistan are in vast quantities as compared to most countries of the world. But this fact itself has not led our economy towards any growth due to insufficient capital and infrastructure to convert the raw mineral into finished material. For this SAGE, MCE has made a cadaster system which is compatible with the rest of the world. The cadaster system which is developed by SAGE, MCE is not having an option of production monitoring. Due to this government is not getting the royalty as per the extraction of minerals which is causing loss to government. This project undertaken by SAGE, MCE will make our cadaster system compatible to monitor the real time production of open pit mines using various remote sensing techniques. The use of drone/UAVs for survey can replace the old manual method of surveying in quarries. This project describes the application of drone images and elevation models for quarry monitoring and management of stockpile en_US
