Geospatial technology although widespread in the context of the functionality it provides, has not been significantly employed in the health facility and service sector in Pakistan. The aim of our research is to prototype a health service and facility management application. This application will bear the ability to help users make optimal choices for consultation and treatments pertaining to their needs while providing the health facility managers (hospitals, pharmacists and private consultants) the ability to augment their approach towards the influx of service seekers. The application will as much provide a thorough outlook on the spatial disease prevalence and its possible causes using spatio-temporal databases and analysis. |
