dc.description.abstract As technology is progressing very fast, Augmented Reality (AR) has found its applications among different disciplines of life and education. It almost has covered every aspect of subject in real world and is getting better day by day. In our work we have used AR for construction industry and housing societies. AR has given construction and urban planning a new edge in making the pre-planning stage more effective and less expensive. Our project serves an application which comprises of different 3-D models along with AR framework so that we can interact virtual objects with the real world. The 3-D model of the house is displayed in real world and also offers walk through features. This enables users to see clearly what their building looks like in which they are investing their money. It also serves geo marketing application by showing the advert of the house that is available for sale or rent on Google Maps. Furthermore, our application shows the interior of the house and the furniture display in real time environment as additional use cases. Moreover, our application is also user friendly. Our main objective is to make a layman able to easily operate our application without any technical help and can achieve his/her aim without any issues. We have built a mobile application and word application to represent our idea. Mobile application shows two features: virtual walk through of your house and geo-marketing. This results production of prototype which can be seen in real environment with the help of our application. Our results show that AR in construction management is an effective technique which has a huge commercial potential. Also, in future, we are planning to add the features of doing interior designing and buying furniture online. Online furniture buying will be able to display furniture in real time environment without any trouble, with the help of our application. en_US
