Pakistan has been encountering flooding issues consistently for the last few years. Floods are causing colossal structure, life and property annihilation. The current systems for flood warning lacks ability to timely dissemination of actionable information to the vulnerable areas. We have fostered a prototype for early flood warning that is a robust, automated and cost effective plan of early flood notice by making an array of flow sensors network introduced in waterways, channels, dams and so forth with ongoing notice background identifying change in the flow rate of water and recreating potential situations of flood propagation and giving timely warnings. |
