AUTOMATION OF TELECOMMUNICATION OPERATIONS USING GEOGRAPIDCAL INFORMATION SYSTEM

Abstract

It has now become the basic requirement of every telecommunication industry to integrate the GIS component for its efficient planning and management. They neglect the common geo-web platform which is a major setback in the globally connected and advancing world of today. This project provides the prudent integration and monitoring platfonn by combining various techniques to generate pragmatic results which are both time and cost effective. The proposed system provides the automation of the fiber network planning process, complaint handling by the application infrastructure for its better monitoring and management at different view levels. This project is the prototype of adding improvement in existing systems and can be developed for the any Internet Service Providers. GIS-based tools and systems in this project can plan and manage the networks as the consolidated geo-web system which benefits the powerful workflow solution with customer satisfaction.
