Cost of energy is increasing day by day. Therefore making the warming and cooling of house is expensive. In our country it has abundance of natural resources which can efficiently be used for heating/ cooling of house. The goal of this project is to design a standard house in Defense Housing Authority, Lahore as they are implementing state of the art techniques and it is the hub of innovative construction now a days and compare it with a house which is designed by implementing modern innovative techniques and use of natural conditions to extract the maximum out of them. Keeping in view the comfort level for the inhabitants different components will be upgraded and meliorated. The materials available in vicinity will be used to make it energy efficient. The high energy demanded by home appliances, air conditioning and lighting makes homes to be considered as one of the most critical area for the impact of energy consumption. Smart home technology is a good choice for people not only care about security, comfort but energy saving as well. Our major focus is on passive and active design of a house. Although on international level, lots of research has been carried out on energy efficient construction yet concept of energy efficient house is new in Pakistan. Our project depicts design of energy efficient house to create awareness among the people about this concept. Making your home more energy efficient can help reduce high energy bills, improve comfort and protect the environment. |
