Art is a form of expression through which one portrays him/herself in the most honest and raw
from. It is an explicit display of emotion so intelligently contained within the body of the
creation. That creation acts as a node, a connecter between the artist and the audience that
fills up the gap that exists between the two personas. It is the loudspeaker that exhibits the
most innate and private thoughts of the artist to the world.
Every form of art needs to be exhibited through careful curatorship with in a productive
environment that showcases the various phases it goes through. The process is as important as
the product itself as it is the numerous stages that help the artist create something profound.
My thesis intends to explore the exhibition of that process in order to showcase the importance
it holds in the creation of the product, both programmatically and architecturally.
The idea of "Art of exhibition" is not the conventional way of putting an artifact or any creative
product within a box but providing it with an interactive environment where the viewer doesn't
only experiences it visually but enjoys the 'making' of it as well. |
