dc.description.abstract Currently architecture is taken as an economic and functional commodity rather than an expedition that can lead to an everlasting utopian trance of human experience. Attention to sensitivity and spirituality in the fabrication of spaces can alter the scenario completely. This design thesis intends to extend beyond the physical realm of architecture by using elements like natural light, materiality, more appropriately it tends to work on the spirit of place. The idea is to explore the possibilities of a multisensory narrative between architecture and human through a building.program dedicated to sacredness, spirituality. A space for interfaith dialogue consisting of a library and museum dedicated to spiritual and religious teachings, providing a platform to learn, explore and converse. An amphitheater, providing a platform for interfaith dialogue between man and man, contemplative areas which serve as a common meditation/worship space, rest areas for researchers and delegations etc. This structure of commonality will act as a monument to peace for the rising interfaith conflicts in the current scenario. Architecture occupies and shapes the physical social context as well as influences the human perception. Architecture's experiential quality and visual impression not only help engage the user to its substance but also allows the user to use his five senses to experience the delight that physical space offers. The architecture here serves as a mediator between man and God, providing an opportunity for self-reflection and erudition. en_US
