dc.description.abstract This thesis concerned with sacred spaces and the relationship of a person with the phenomenology. Sacred spaces paly a fundamental role in our existence. They are experienced across many lands and cultures and with many beliefs and practices. My argument maintains that these powerful experiences should not be limited to only a certain group of users, but rather should be open for all to experience. This type of architectural expression should extend beyond the limitations and rules of religion and embrace multitudes of people and beliefs. This thesis is the design question to explore the qualities of scared space and the relationship of person with its environment. Contemplative atmosphere that enhance activity. Space which bring the emotion of reverence. Space which revel and bring peace to human spirit. en_US
