dc.description.abstract IoT based sensors for data collection to assist landmine operations providing technical assistance incorporating tools and techniques of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Existing landmine operations are extensively dangerous and have resulted in fatal incidents and various sappers on field are in danger zone. Our objective is to provide a back end map for the supervisor to overview the operation in safe environment and view more than one sappers on one screen and view logged geographic location of mines for latter mine clearance operation. A live web map for un-swept areas alert would be integrated with the support of alerts for dis orientation of metal detector equipment and when the range of the metal detector from the ground is above a certain threshold. Our end product is aimed to be a detachable easy to mount prototype and wirelessly equipped to support far-fetched areas of land. en_US
