dc.description.abstract Can architecture, aside from functioning as a strategic instrument for instrumentality, modernization process and economic development, represents a material embodiment of cultural and civic values? Does probability of re-strategizing strategically to achieve aforementioned statement exist? Label it [architecture] innocent or distinguish the domain with its characterizing features, architecture has always offered flexibility and proved to be inclusive despite resistive stances. With the advancements in field of science and increasing innovations which directed us towards a modern way of life, the living patterns of humans have substantially changed rather they [patterns] are replaced in several circumstances, which led to a dichotomous version of traditional and modern life. The characterizing inclusivity (commonly viewed skeptically particularly in case of technological advancement) has potential to be productive in both advanced as well as advancing societies. At the same time, we can't ignore (ethically) the heavy weight and significance of tradition in technologically advancing societies where invention are changing modes of life thus shaping new living patterns.. The thesis will be an endeavor to reach and attain a "fertile overlap of traditional values and modern living patterns" or "fusion of horizons" (Frampton) which seem to be in diametric opposition due to very precise definitions and their measurement through a tele-lens despite possibility for a wide-angled lens. en_US
