dc.description.abstract This thesis aims to re define the govt. schooling institutes and activities in them to change the physical appearance of govt. schools and also physical and mental statues of govt. school students. Rapid growth in population of Islamabad with the number ofpeople moving in this city for better job opportunities and education is over crowding already existing govt. educational institutes in Islamabad region. Everyone can't afford private educational institutes and govt. schools are getting overcrowded, reason why? Because they were designed to accommodate limited students of a single sector of Islamabad but now situation has changed. As each sector of Islamabad is like a city with in a city with own schools, colleges, commercial zones for sector residents. Architecture should be able to help both, authorities by presenting a basic layout or formula for a school building design with the help ofwhich they can building or expand existing institutions for coming decade at least and students by providing facilities in this new layout of school in which they not only get mentally strong but become physically and confidentially strong too. en_US
