dc.description.abstract The goal of this project is the creation of a facility that manages to act as a mindful retreat for those expressively stressed to help reset their mental state and encourage more understanding and open discussion on the topic of mental health. The fast paced hectic life style of today has ended up trapping people in an unfulfilling cycle that ends up causing huge amounts of stress and anxiety. They are living lives isolated from nature, surrounded by artificial and alienating environments, not getting the time to slow down and relax, allot which is negatively impacting their mental state and quality of life. Despite this they are not receiving any guidance to help properly deal and cope with these issues which results in them developing into more serious psychological issues. There is a need to de-stigmatize and normalize the act of taking care of one's mental state. This project attempts to do that through design by creating a facility focusing on healing through nature. Through creating spaces that helps make the users comfortable and enables them to relax and focus on their health. And a facility that aiming to equip them with techniques and tools to manage their stresses and lead more happy productive lives. en_US
