dc.description.abstract Perfor_ming arts (music, dance, theatre) is a form of art that molds gifted people into talented individuals and talented people to acquire a method that enables them to express their art in unique way. Moreover, for me it acts like a source of escape from the daily routine and chaos, it almost acts like therapy for me in order to overcome my inner fears and problems. This made me look into how performing arts affect the human mind, leading me to discover that this form of art helps a person to reach their innermost core of consciousness. During performance arts an individual travels around the different layers of consciousness, during this the person understand their own crisis in life cycle, underlying reasons and sets own coping strategies. It helps an individual to find meaning in life, to realize own self and develop high efficacy in cognitive, emotional, psychomotor coordination and overall health efficacy. It increases desired for life expectancy. Moreover, as being able to practice one of the performing arts form I wanted to use dance as an element that links the concept of travelling through the layers of consciousness to architecture. The aim is to study the relationship between performing arts and architecture. Dance is a form of performing arts that I myself practice. Therefore dance is what will be used in order to travel through these layers and achieve the desired results. I aim to explore how my concept that is defined through my performance can be physically executed via architecture. The performance describes how the dance routine transitions through these three phases of consciousness. These are then translated and abstracted into elements of design. en_US
