Design of prestressed concrete Girder bridge

Abstract

Various factors in recent decades have caused concrete bridges to become most prevalent type of highway structures throughout the world. Pre-stressed concrete has become more competitive in many span ranges because of innovations in construction techniques, equipment and methods. Considerable efforts have been made in completion of this project. We have attempted to be practical in describing design procedures to the best of our knowledge gained.
