dc.description.abstract Pakistan is a country which has been mired with natural calamities such as earthquake and flooding which not only have caused a great amount of loss and suffering in terms of human life but also in terms of the damage to the concrete infrastructure. An effective research is needed for the selection of effective repair materials and effective repair techniques for the repair and rehabilitation of the present infrastructure. Styrene Butadiene Rubber Latex (SBR), Polyvinyl Acetate (PVA) and ZUBA (latex of various polymers) are the polymers which have been introduced in this research to improve the overall performance of the Plain Cement Concrete (PCC) when used as a repair material. The mechanical properties of PCC repaired with different polymers as described above were studied. This paper focuses on the mechanical properties of concrete which has been repaired with polymer modified mortars en_US
