dc.description.abstract | Human progress is directly attributed to the capability of precise and accurate measurement of various quantities. The journey commenced through analog measurements by employing different procedures as human developed their engineering faculties and started the flight towards space; the primitive procedure fell short of modern requirements. 21st century witnessed across the board digitalization of physical quantities. Scientists and engineers are still employing their energies to convert analog systems into digital systems. Many techniques these days are being used to acquire exact results for calculating the physical quantities. We have affixed single turn precision rotary transducers for this purpose. Despite certain constraints, the project has been completed by improvising the shortfalls through innovative approaches. The transducers sense the motion in the form of rotation and send it to the ADC in voltage. The ADC processes this information and we get quantities on the digital display of computer. The results have been encouraging; the installed equipment is considered to be of utility for the potential engineers and has opened a new horizon to carry out research work and further study | en_US |
