The drastic honeybee decline is very alarming across the globe due to the
unfavorable conditions they were being provided. Research studies tell us the clear
downfall of the honeybee’s population which ultimately cause the lesser
production of honey. Moreover, to make sure the favorable conditions of the
beehive, its difficult for the beekeeper to go and check again Still its not much
helpful because checking hundreds of hives. So, there was a need of a system
which will lessen the labor work and showing live data of the inner conditions of
beehive on application. IOT will automate the temperature of the beehive and if
there happens any irregularity in the conditions, an alert message will be sent to the
user on app. To further lessen the hectic work of uploading data to the firebase
cloud we are going to introduce the concept of mesh systems for those users who
wants to buy more than one automated beehive. This system refers to the concept
of combining the data of many beehives to a single gateway and then uploading
them to the firebase cloud if this does not happen then users would have to pay for
additional price for every beehive that they will connect to cloud. This concept of
mesh will eventually reduce that price. Furthermore, the users can view their data
of their additional beehives on their apps on single mobile screen. |
