Abstract:
The software for calculation of cooling load for a residential building is a tool
which eases the tedious and time consuming job of calculating the heat gains and other
calculations for cooling load. The project required understanding of the procedure of heat gains by a residential
unit, the calculations involved in it, as well as a firm grip over Visual Basic. The
calculations done conform to the ASHRAE standards and the entire project
commensurate with the local prevailing environs
