dc.description.abstract |
The idea is to design a unit that encourages collaborative efforts in the making of
tea to understand how different ingredients merge to achieve the perfect balance
and blend; and the experience generated by this unit will reinvigorate the culture
and rituals around communal tea drinking. Hence communal relationships are not
limited to the drinking aspect of chai but also in the making part of it. The proposed
unit will be a combination of trend and tradition. It will enhance social interaction
and involve users in the process of making chai.
Further in the report, major reasons of negligence towards chai in contemporary
world and cultural shift will be discussed. |
