dc.description.abstract The progression in designing products for the betterment of people's lives was necessary. We need products, services and spaces to be designed or improved in such a way so it benefits us as the primary users. Even with the development of products in the field of personal safety, better products are required every now and then for protection or help against undesired situations. This report conducted is aimed to investigate upon the natural human behavior that one portrays upon encountering a difficult or an emergency situation, and their spontaneous reflexes. Haven; a smart security wearable device that one can use to inform their loved ones anytime they feel threatened, or are in a dangerous situation. Haven focuses on giving users that feeling of safety that it will immediately alert their loved ones of their location just by the their body responses in that situation. The project builds upon the research, all the while also studying upon existing case studies and literature references that employ products or technology for a similar purpose, that is a product that would help the users in such compromising circumstances especially for people with slow involuntary reactions. Haven is trendy, smart, and does not compromise on your location all the time. en_US
