dc.description.abstract In Pakistan, a large number of families are sustaining their livelihood through street food vending business. Likewise in other countries including European countries street food vending can also be witnessed on busy road sides, commercial areas and under the world known skyscrapers. However, the format of street vending and specially street food vending is nowhere comparable among Pakistani and European countries. Besides, not much has been done in this area, lacking innovatively designed and manufactured products for the convenience of existing street food vendors. One of the main reasons is un-affordability that elevates other problems such as lack of arrangements for waste disposal and theft of electricity etc. This study is about to figure out a solution to these problems keeping in view the Pakistani culture and values. The proposed solution shall provide an opportunity for those unemployed people (who are physically handicapped) and wish to start up their own mobile food units while minimizing the existing challenges in the field of street food vending in Pakistan. It is presumed that customized and affordable solutions can bring about profitable growth in this area. Keywords en_US
